Work I’ve been doing and things I’m thinking about.

I’ve been working with Photo Fringe over the past few months, taking on the design and development of their website for this year’s festival. It’s probably the biggest website project I’ve worked on to date, and it’s now live!

Based around the festival identity created by Alejo Cane, the site brings together everything happening throughout October, with details of all the exhibitions and events across Brighton and beyond.

I designed and built a custom exhibition editor that lets over 100 artists upload and arrange their photographs and films, add text, and choose how their exhibition is presented, all within the Photo Fringe website.

For visitors, the site also has a new custom calendar and integrated map, making it easy to see what’s on, when and where throughout the festival.

It’s been a huge project and it’s brilliant to finally see the site filled with artists, photography and events. A massive thanks to Rebecca Drew, Ricardo Revéron Blanco and the whole Photo Fringe team for making it such a great project to work on.

The first of a few launches this autumn! Dreamy Place returns to Brighton in October and I’ve just launched the new website. I gave the festival a major brand refresh this year, inspired by the theme of nature and our changing relationship with the natural world. It’s quite a departure from previous years, with a new look that runs through the website and the wider festival. It’s been great working with Jamie and Moritz again to bring it all together.

Following a fantastic Spring residency on Syncing Space, the accessible online arts platform I design and develop with Sarah Pickthall, the artists have now launched their online exhibition. It features some excellent work, and huge thanks to everyone involved for making it such a pleasure to work on.

I’ve just launched some updates on photographer Murray Ballard’s website, including thumbnail galleries for each project, a new online store, and overall speed and performance improvements. It was a pleasure to build on his existing design and enhance it while keeping the clean, minimal feel intact.

ABCover, the education insurance specialists, have a new website, which I have launched following a fast turnaround project. I designed and built a clean, modern site focused on clarity, ease of navigation, and an improved user experience.
